Mid Hill Mega Maize Program

Maize is the main food crop of hilly region of Nepal. There is tremendous opportunities to enhance production and productivity of maize, especially in hilly areas with very minimum development intervention as farmers in most of these areas follow conventional methods and are unaware of improved technologies. Taking these issues in consideration, Crop Development Directorate started Mid Hill Mega Maize Program from 2013/14.
